The Rooms

The Rooms-a gathering place of cultural heritage for Newfoundland and Labrador. The name originates in fishing communities, buildings where families came together to process their catch.

Built on the site of Fort Townshend, a huge star-shaped citadel, one of the largest British fortifications in its time.
